Everything about Claire and Brandon’s intimate Cass Winery wedding was perfectly done. They both put so much heart and soul into every aspect of their day, and it was just as unique and beautiful as the two of them are. It is always a pleasure returning to photograph two people say “I do” at Cass; it is even more exciting to see how they make their day theirs.
A few of my favorite aspects of their day: Claire’s grandfather played the bagpipes as she walked down the isle. They didn’t have a wedding party, but their friends wore a specific color palette allowing them to complement the design of the day (photographers dream, right there). They incorporated a few of their family traditions – such as the Jewish breaking of the glass, a French champagne shower during toasts, and the most tasty macaroons I’ve ever had. But my favorite thing of all was watching Brandon’s eyes fill with tears as he watched his bride stand before him. Of course this gets me every time.
Claire’s bouquet was created by the lovely and oh so talented Katie Noonan of Noonan’s Wine Country Designs. Katie was able to incorporate a variety of flower that is similar to a flower found in South Africa (where her mother is from); it was something that was noticed and loved by her family throughout the day. Rhonda Johnson of Bridal Hair and Makeup did a stunning job with Claire’s hair and makeup. Claire wore a stunning antique inspired dress from BHLDN of LA. Brandon wore a dapper ensemble from Combatant Gentlemen.
Their reception was under an Oak Tree close to Cass’s tasting room. They had two long farm style tables, draped with beautiful DIY decor with the use of wine bottles. They were amazing! And the color palette these two chose made my heart melt all day long. Their stunning wedding cake and other desert goodies were created by the lovely Whitnie Burke of Paper Cake Events.
Claire and Brandon – thank you so ardently for letting me document such a beautiful day. Photographing you both in the vineyard, watching how Brandon kept trying to make you smile Claire – the love the two of you have is so precious and absolutely stunning. I am so excited for this next adventure you are on! So much love! Cheers!!
