This past fall our lil family of four took a trip to two of our favorite places, both happen to be located in California; Catalina Island and Pismo Beach. Both places fill us with the joy of family and love. Always providing a place of reflection and renewal; leaving feeling utterly grateful and ready to take on the world upon returning home. This trip couldn’t have had happened soon enough. 2013 was a rough year for us as a family and me personally; I would never want to re-live it. We went through some pretty intense struggles that left me confused and feeling a slight loss in identity. It is no surprise that I opened these images for the first time on New Years Eve. Looking back at these moments remind me of all that God has taught us and has pulled us through. My heart is so grateful. I can’t wait to get back to these two places… Pismo in particular. And here is to the hope of 2014. Cheers.
