Their story makes me tear up. High school best friends, to college sweethearts, to becoming young parents, to learning life apart, to finding their way back to each other, and as of Saturday, finally becoming husband and wife. Kristy’s first email to me said it all: “God has brought our little family back together and our hearts are so overjoyed!” Their intimate private estate wedding surrounded by almond groves was dreamy, but the joy and celebration surrounding the four of these beautiful souls was even more breathtaking.

Kristy + Trevor’s son and daughter of course stole the show in all the most perfect ways throughout the day. Being apart of a wedding day that included the couple’s young kids makes the day even more magical then I ever thought possible. The emotion behind Kristy + Trevor becoming husband and wife was even more meaningful, if that is even possible, because you got to see the day through the kids eyes; they lit up at every moment. Their mommy and daddy were finally getting married. And it was absolutely perfect. In these moments you see the finger print of God and how absolutely beautiful grace truly is.

I need to also mention what an amazing crew that were apart of Kristy and Trevor’s day! Firstly, they got married on her parent’s property which is surrounded by acres and acres of Almond trees – oh my stinkin’ gorgeousness. Marie Harrison and her team from Tailor Made Events did a fabulous job making this day come to life. Blossoms by Lisa created the most fragrant bouquets – I have never experience such stunning arrangements turn everyone’s noses when it walked by in the arms of a bridesmaid! Holly’s Hand Lettering signs and invitations were out of this world. Mango Crazy’s appetizers were beautiful, Pete’s Outdoor Catering makes one killer tri-tip while Olde Tyme Pastries provided the post tasty sweets. George with Sounds of Motion kept the dance floor hopping (and there was no booze, that tells you he’s a million bucks of a DJ).  Aneesa Smith and Katerina at Inspirations Salon made all the girls stunning with Hair and Makeup. We had the privilege of working along side Karissa Wright Productions every moment of the day as they videos the moments I was creating stills of (and get this, Kristy + Trevor got a tiny video montage of their day before even leaving their wedding that night. Karissa is amazing!).

I was constantly at a lost for words through out this day. I am so grateful for these two, for the kiddos they created, and the little family they are – God is good. Kristy + Trevor – you are doing amazing and I am so ardently happy for you. I hope you are enjoying every second in Maui! So much love to you both and your whole beautiful family! Cheers + Love!
