Speeches are one of my favorite things at weddings. Getting to hear stories of the couple from their best friends and family members can simultaneously pull at your heartstrings and make you laugh hysterically. Hearing the backstories of each of couple – like how Riley told her best friends she would marry Brian way before they were serious. Hearing how their parents and friends get all choked up as they express how proud they are for the parents they have grown into and become for their lil man, Rocco. I could go on and on. And with all that to say, this wedding had both Brian and I laughing out loud and also feeling all the feels.
We meet up with Riley and Brian with her parents earlier in the year at Cass. Instantly getting to know them we feel in love with who they are as a couple and also her parents. This day was full of so much joy, celebration and excitement. There is something so magical about walking in on a day, not having any personal history with the couple or the 100+ of their friends and family beyond being “the photographer,” and leaving the night feeling as if you had known them forever. The crowd surrounding these two is inspiring and I am so happy to know they are loved so much.
As you all know, Cass Winery Weddings have a piece of my heart. Riley + Brian, thank you so much for letting Brian and I in on this day. It was absolutely beautiful and magical. And we can’t wish you enough joy and love as your sweet lil family starts this new chapter of your lives! xoxo
