Vi and Mike live in Colorado and I just so happen to be back over Thanksgiving so we scheduled their engagement shoot. Vi said in her first inquiry that they have a new puppy and wanted to take a couple photos with him in it. Thus, meet Drogo. He is a Klee Kai. And is completely and utterly adorable and so much fun to photograph!

Colorado welcomed my family with their first snow for the Denver area once we arrived. As much as I think we were hoping for tad warmer day, the snow scattered around making it all the more romantic. We started our time together at Cheeseman Park and then scooted over to Commons Park on the other side of downtown. Even though by the end of our shoot the three of us were freezing, Vi and Mike were so sweet and adorable with each other. There were so many giggles, they both have the best smiles, and when you’re around couples who truly just fit each other on so many levels – it makes you feel as if you’ve been friends with them forever.

Vi and Mike are “high school” sweethearts. And get this, they met at a wedding! Her cousin’s wedding in fact. I’m pretty sure not a lot of people can say they met their husband or wife at a wedding and when they weren’t even 20 yet. I love their story and they have been together through so much of their lives already – it’s so evident they are perfect for each other. So without further ado, I present to you Vi and Mike.
