Silver and Matt’s Lyons Farmette Wedding was more than I could have imagined. Of course, Colorado put on a show for us that within moments of us arriving to the Farmette. A large hail storm welcomed us, covering the walkways with white tiny ice pebbles. The forecast didn’t look anymore promising for the rest of the day, but as we all know, Colorado always has different plans. After the storm cleared, the sun kept popping out, illuminating the Farmette just as Silver began walking down the isle.
Silver is my sister-in-law’s best friend. Which means I’ve known her as long as I’ve known my sister. We were around when Matt entered the scene and I remember thinking they were the perfect match back then. Brian and I were excited when we heard Matt was going to purpose to Silver, and we were even more honored that we were their chosen wedding photographers. Everything about their day was completely them. From a Pizza Food truck (amazing!), Silver’s wedding dress (Stunning), and Matt’s tie (oh so cool. His tie was custom designed by Kind Design. It’s a Topographic Map that pin points where Matt purposed to Silver – at the exact point at Imogene Pass. All the groomsmen had the same time. It was so cool).
One really unique thing about Lyons Farmette Weddings is their flowers. They grow, pick and create stunning bouquets. STUNNING. Helen did a beautiful job – Silver’s bouquet was breath taking. I didn’t even know some of those purple flowers existed. And they also created the circle arbor for the wedding ceremony. Oh my goodness, there were just so many cool and unique things apart of this day!
Silver and Matt, thank you so much for letting us be apart of your wedding! We are so immensely excited for the two of you. Sending so much love and I hope guys have an amazing time in the mountains!! xoxo
