Raven + Collin’s La Lomita Ranch wedding hit all the unique and stunning bohemian vibes that makes this flower child photographer’s heart so happy. The joy that was felt this day was over the moon; I still can’t get over my time spent with these two. Raven + Collin’s engagement session last fall definitely gave insight on how sweet these two are; but this day was even sweeter than I had anticipated. It was such an honor to be a part of it and the awesome vendor crew—everyone was just full of so much love. And with every giggle and grin these two shared, my heart was overflowing. It was simply the best.
La Lomita offers an intimate wedding package with the option of renting out all their rooms for guests—and that is exactly what these two did. And it is hands downs one of the best setups for intimate weddings here on the central coast. La Lomita’s grounds are immaculate, instantly fills your mind with creativity and you just can’t get enough of it. Every turn is stunning and beautiful. This place is special, and anyone who walks on the grounds feels it. The Spanish architecture and the history of the ranch is so rich—I love weddings here.
Now let’s talk about Raven’s dress. During their Avila Beach engagement session she told me about this wedding dress she ordered from a lady named Ivana Čizmadija in Croatia. Even though there was a little uncertainty on what to expect when ordering a dress from the other side of the world, when the dress finally arrived Raven said it was absolutely perfect. When I walked in and saw her dress on her wedding day, my jaw dropped. You guys… you don’t see dresses like this. It is SO unique and stunning. The monstera lace and pattern up against the banana leaves on the Spanish painted stairs during their portrait session—I just… I just can’t. It was perfection.
