Not only was Crystal and Duane’s venue gorgeous, but it also happened to be the same location Duane had proposed to her the year before. A quaint vineyard tucked away in the rolling hills of Temecula Valley, a place called, Keywest Winery & Vineyard. The setting was exquisite. Being springtime, everything was beginning to bloom and the colors were the perfect canvas to allow Crystal to carefully chose their weddingcolors: shades of coral, light pink, silvery sage with a beautiful light ice blue.
The bride’s Oleg Cassini wedding dress was a gorgeous mermaid style with embroidered crystals throughout. Her hair had cascading curls draping her shoulder; several perfectly selected curls were pinned back with a stunning diamond comb. Her “something blue” were carefully chosen light ice blue open toed heels accented with stylish diamond broaches on the tips. Elegant diamond earrings completed the flawless look, as Crystal was the perfect, stunning bride.
Crystal’s bridesmaids wore matching style After Six dresses; one wore the dress in a lovely coral shade and the other in a perfect light pink. Both ladies wore a sash with a diamond broach – complementing the diamond broaches in Crystal’s hair and shoes. Sweet Petals Florists made the perfect bouquets to pull all the colors together. A beautiful mixture of Lamb’s Ear, blush Garden Roses, orange Ranunculus, large white Mums, and Succulents making each of the three bouquets a little different but a masterpiece by themselves.
The groomsmen wore traditional light grey suits with coral ties while Duane was dressed in grey with a classic white tie. To add a layer of sass and fun, the men also wore matching striped blue and grey socks. The boutonnieres were orange and coral shades of ranunculus, tied together with twine, creating a rustic yet elegant look.
Three precious flower girls were dressed in extra sweet dresses made entirely of tulle. The soft breeze of the day would fluff the dresses, creating the sweetest dancing fairies anyone could imagine. The ring barer was an adorable charmer in grey and white and had a bow tie to match the groomsmen’s coral ties.
The bridal party was perfectly designed and elegantly arranged in every aspect, but the bride and groom’s families were also styled in the same theme (this makes photographer’s hearts so happy!). Moms wore ice blue chiffon dresses, fathers wore ice blue ties, and special guests and readers during the ceremony were in coral dresses or coral accents.
Crystal and Duane also built wedding signs using old pallets or dark staining new wood added to the desired rustic elegant atmosphere. Signs were placed throughout, directing guests to the ceremony and reception sites. The ceremony was held in the gorgeous garden just outside of the tasting house. Perfectly lined rows of black wooden chairs ended with antique blue mason jars hanging from shepherds hooks; each blue jar contained white babies breath and favorite coral and light pink flowers matching the bridesmaid’s bouquets, all creating the perfect aisle forCrystal‘s grand entrance.
The reception took place in a beautiful tent within the vineyard. Sides of the tent were removed, creating an airier atmosphere as it allowed in the natural light and breathtaking landscape. Three chandeliers laced with greenery, bistro lights and white chiffon drapery crossed over the ceiling. The tables were draped with long ivory linens and accented with coral napkins. Crystal and Duane created a sweet and custom way to provide guests with their pacesetting; each card was hand written and tied to an old fashioned key that hung vertically on a custom wooden sign welcoming them to the reception. The couple also handmade each table number and provided each guest with homemade jars of jam for the wedding favor. The sweetheart table had a beautiful wooden ampersand, creating the connection of the couple’s handmade “Mr.” & “Mrs.” signs that hung from their chairs. The dessert table offered a variety of delicious delicacies to all in attendance. The cake was an elegant three-ti ered design decorated with large blush Garden Roses. The groom’s cake was a surprise for Duane who works in Law Enforcement, a replica of the couple and a patrol.
The sun set on a matchless wedding day and the reception glowed with little lights that reflected the stars in the night sky. The guests gathered for a send off line, each person held out a golden sparkler to send the happy couple off in sparks of style; the perfect close to a perfect day.
