Kelly + Brian planned their wedding at The Grace Maralyn Estate and Garden in Atascadero, California. The day was surrounded by so much love, joy, celebration and the cutest lil pup named Zoe. I have been hearing about Zoe ever since their engagement shoot last year and was dying to meet her. There were several moments throughout the day that she stole the show; and no one minded one bit. But back to Kelly + Brain’s day…
My favorite aspect of their day was Kelly’s desire to duplicate a photograph of her own parents. Her grandfather had a Ford Model T. When her parents got married, they had a photo of the two of them sitting in the backseat of the classic car. The Model T was in stunning condition! Both Brian and I were freaking out – it was beautiful. Seeing the pride her family had with the history of the car and creating some magical images of the two of them around and inside the car was a dream. It was beautiful. And the meaning behind that one photo of them sitting in the back seat could quite possibly be the most important photo from their day.
The day was absolutely perfect which also meant the sunset did not disappoint. The team surrounding this day was spectacular! Ali Miller of Sixpence Event Planner did a fabulous job pulling together all the visions of Kelly’s dream wedding. It was romantic, whimsical and absolutely stunning. Blush, sage and gold was dancing through the grounds of The Grace Maralyn Estate. Nicki Caldwell of FluidBloom made one of the most stunning bouquets ever and it smelled like heaven. Truly. The food provided by Zest It Up was incredible and the whole day ran so smooth and perfect, thanks to Tacey Costa and her sister Lacey from Heart Melting Events.
Hair + makeup by the oh so lovely Danielle Roberts. The bridesmaids wore Weddington Way dresses while the flower girl’s dresses were by ThinkPinkBows on Etsy. Kelly’s wedding dress’s lace was beautiful and had stunning jewel design around the bodice, designed by Anna Campbell. It was absolutely stunning.
Kelly + Brian, I am so excited for the two of you! Thank you for letting Brian and I capture your beautiful day surrounded by your most dearest friends and family. It was perfect and I wish you guys all the love and joy imaginable as you begin this amazing journey as husband and wife! xoxo
