Often times a destination wedding offers the opportunity of a lifetime for a couple to bring all their most favorite humans together in one of their most cherished favorite places. That is what Lake Almanor is for Tessa and Andrew. Located three hours north of Sacramento, it is a jewel inside of Lassen National Forest. With all the planning that went into their wedding day, their Highlands Ranch Resort wedding welcome party was held in another magical location about 40 minutes West of the lake that made you feel like you transported to a stunning ranch in Montana. The ranch is surrounded by vast landscape that speaks to your soul, mountain peaks fading into purple as the sun began to dip, and the delight of seeing and hearing the cattle in the nearby field. The Highlands Ranch Resort was the perfect backdrop for their night before, welcoming their guests into a weekend that was unforgettable.

So chic, Andrew in a blue blazer and cowboy boots, and Tessa in a stunning white asymmetrical chiffon maxi dress with an elegant choker scarf, the two looked amazing. Their guests enjoyed drinks and mingling, soaking in the landscape and joy of celebrating the soon-to-be husband and wife. It was laid back and beautiful as we all watched the sun dip behind the mountains. Absolutely perfect.
