I love when two of my worlds collide. Specifically when a client wants to book a photo session while they are in town or are planning a wedding in the area, but they currently live in places I once called home: such as Chicago and Colorado.

This sweet clan was venturing from the Denver area, and the fact that they stumbled across my work and wanted to book a photo session with me is something that fills my heart to the brim. It’s this connection that almost feels like your long-lost distance family member—a thread that connects the two of you without knowing. It’s something that is a part of their lives as it’s also something you also hold as part of yours. There is just something magical about it.

Here is our time together, photographing in one my favorite spots on Pismo Beach, with white cliffs and beautiful waves… and a sweet family that felt a little like home.
