Whitney and Bryan’s Rocky Mountain wedding in Estes Park, Colorado was the perfect blend of class, stunning details and unique flair. Every moment throughout the day included personal elements that definitely pulled on my heart strings. One example – they had their best friend, who also happened to be the one who introduce the two of them, officiate the wedding ceremony. The ceremony alone was beautiful, and it was hard to not let tears fall when witnessing these two wipe away their own tears while saying their vows.
One of my favorite things about Della Terra is the beauty that surrounds it. The Chateau is elegant but simplified and designed in away that brings out the beauty of the land and views. It feels sacred and personal. Every wedding I’ve every had the pleasure of photographing here feels magical. And not because of the decor nor the events that fill the day – but because the couples who choose to get married here falls in love with this place, and it becomes part of them and their story. They are just as excited to be in this place as they are to share it with all their chosen guests. And as the guests make their way towards the ceremony site, you hear their gasps and comments that lets you know they realize how special this place truly is too.
Whitney + Bryan didn’t have a wedding party – and this is something I absolutely love. Not that I don’t enjoy the camaraderie, the dresses and complimentary suites, and being able to hang with a whole group of best friends all day, but when it’s just the two of you, your focus changes. Yes, I also do love the fact that we get to spend more time running around and capturing moments of just the two of you during the day, but there seems to be something more and it’s even evident during you getting ready, the cocktail hour and the reception; it’s just a bit sweeter. And I absolutely love it.
Also, I have to make note, Boulder Blooms bouquet was absolutely stunning! The white, sage and purple bouquet and boutonnieres were gorgeous! It was perfect and complimented Whitney’s dress and Bryan’s suite so well! Micheal of Pure Sounds did a lovely job getting the partying going during the reception and no one was upset with VooDoo’s Donuts as their wedding cake! It was such an honor to be able to be apart of Whitney and Bryan’s wedding – but it was even more sweet to get to know the two of them and see the way they deeply love each other. I wish you two all the love and adventure possible – I am so excited for the two of you. xoxo
