Sometimes love looks like exploring a magical oak forest, hiking through a eucalyptus grove, and dancing on the beach. It sometimes looks like last minute road trips to San Luis Obispo and bringing along two cute lil pups named Rocco and Lilly (they’re adorable). And love sometimes looks like planning an epic trip through Italy together whilst one of you plans to ask the other to be their one and only forever… everything about these two makes your heart melt. From the way Tim looks at her to the way she can’t hold back the most contagious smile ever when he does, our impromptu engagement session together was perfect.

Becka called me Thursday afternoon asking if I was free to do an engagement shoot Saturday, yet she wasn’t 100% sure they were actually coming into town yet. The weather was slightly questionable Saturday afternoon, but as the 48 hours unfolded since that phone call, everything fell into place.

As we walked through an oak forest, I asked how Tim purposed. He began and mentioned “we were in Venice.” I stopped him right there. Venice?! Well, that was probably the most epic introduction to a proposal story I’ve ever heard. They had planned this amazing trip through Italy. Unbeknown to her, he was planning on asking Becka to marry him on day one of their trip. Their story is so sweet and anyone who comes into contacted with the two of them knows how perfect they are for each other. I can’t get over it. I loved every moment getting to know these two and adore the photos we created.
