A Private Estate Wedding in Salinas

I could go on and on about this day. Really, about this couple. From the moment an email from David landed in my inbox a couple weeks before he actually asked Katie to be his bride—I was smitten with these two. As the year would go on, I would quickly fall in love with who David and Katie are, and even more in love with what they represent.

We all remember the year that shall not be named, and I don’t need to go on about that, but what I want to share with you is the joy that was so intricately involved and woven through every single aspect of this day. David and Katie are the kind of humans you want in your life, in your court—and it was so immensely evident as I continued to meet their family, friends and guests throughout the entire day. These two are admired, prized and so worth celebrating. And the love they share for not only each other but everyone else in their world—it floors me.

It’s been almost two years since this day, and I can still remember the feeling of the grass, the smell of the dust during sunset, their friends being the most hype and giving individuals, the embrace from family members, Katie’s laughter, and the way David looked at her every moment possible.
