Some love stories you get the honor of watching unfold from the very beginning. While that isn’t the case for Katie and Patrick’s, I’ve been so lucky to have been able to follow along for a few years now. From their surprise proposal at Montana de Oro to their engagement session on Bishops Peak, each moment with them has been filled with so much love, warmth, and an immense amount of joy.
Photographing their wedding at Lamoure Vineyards was one of the most beautiful full-circle moments. The venue itself is a dream. It’s elegantly rustic with just the right amount of modern sophistication. A ceremony barn filled with soft natural light, a dinner barn dripping in chic, thoughtful details, and a dancing barn that came so alive with music, celebration, and love (and yes, there were three barns. What an epic way to design out a wedding). Even the estate house looked like something out of a Restoration Hardware catalog. Every space was gorgeous, and every corner offered the perfect backdrop for Katie and Patrick’s wedding day.
And goodness, Katie and Patrick… their love for each other overflowed in every moment. Their ceremony brought heartfelt tears to nearly everyone’s eyes, including mine. Their vows were deeply personal, tender, and full of reverence for what it means to grow together. And their happiness didn’t just fill the space… it radiated.
They’re the kind of couple who don’t just show up for each other; they show up for everyone around them. Their friends and family are just as wonderful. So supportive, vibrant, and clearly overjoyed to celebrate the two of them.
